This year, I made a simple transition from my Halloween entrance to a Fall inspired one. I LOVE fall… it’s my favorite season… so I’m thrilled to have transformed my front entry using a few Fall staples.Once the holiday season rolls around… it can be tough to find the time to do anything.. let alone decorate your house for the holidays! It can feel like one day you’re putting up Halloween decor… the next day you’re trying to prepare for Thanksgiving… and when you look around, all you see is Christmas! I know so many people who just cannot be bothered with all of that packing and unpacking! And I totally understand why it might be easier to skip those Thanksgiving decorations all together and just launch into Christmas… after all, it’s EVERYWHERE you look!! I, however, am determined to stay strong, and celebrate each holiday wholeheartedly! So… to make for an easy transition from Halloween to Thanksgiving, I decided not to re-invent the wheel, but instead replace the Halloween pieces with simple Fall decor…. down came my skeletons and out came the corn stalks….
If you saw my Halloween Front Entry, you’ll notice how similar my Autumn Front Entry is! I replaced the Raven Wreath with one made of colorful faux cranberries that I purchased at Homegoods. The skeletons were replaced with Corn Stalks from a local pumpkin farm! I tied the Corn Stalks with some burlap ribbon. I added a few bails of hay that I picked up from a craft store, and rearranged the same pumpkins I had used for my Halloween Entry.
So simple! Yet so beautiful! My entryway is officially ready to welcome guests to my Thanksgiving feast!!
Until November 25….. and the packing and unpacking begins again!
