It’s that time again…. my cream cheese flavor of the month for October! This month I was inspired by Halloween! No… not by Pumpkins… like ALL of the food I see everywhere in October, but instead….. Halloween Candy!! This month’s flavor is Butterfinger!
First, let your cream cheese sit out until softened. Meanwhile, lightly crush those candy bars… I used a wooden spoon to crush mine…. great tension release!! I didn’t go crazy pounding them into dust…. my electric mixer does a good job of breaking them up, and besides.. I liked the idea of having some small chunks of candy bar in the spread. Mix the candy bar, cream cheese, and peanut butter until thoroughly blended. Chill for at least an hour. The flavors get stronger with age! 🙂 Keep refrigerated until ready to serve. Besides bagels, this spread works great on graham crackers as a quick snack, or paired with apples for a crunchy twist!

- 8 oz cream cheese - softened
- 2 full size Butterfinger candy bars
- 1 teaspoon creamy peanut butter
- Crush the Candy Bars
- Mix all ingredients
- Chill
- Serve
