A Basic Scotch Shortbread Recipe - only 3 ingredients - perfect for stamping!

Ingredients
  • ¾ cup butter, softened
  • ¾ cup butter, softened
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
Instructions
  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Combine butter and sugar
  3. Add flour by hand
  4. If the dough is too crumbly, add softened butter
  5. Roll ½ to ⅓" thick on a floured surface
  6. Use the decorative roller to stamp design into dough
  7. Cut into small shapes
  8. Place ½" apart on ungreased cookie sheet
  9. Bake
  10. Immediately move to a cooling rack
