I love bagels. I love New Orleans. This concoction was a no-brainer!It’s Mardi Gras weekend and I have NOLA on the mind. Sadly, I can’t be there, but I can certainly celebrate and enjoy a little flavor of that amazing city.
So, whether you’re just sitting back, enjoying a Bloody Mary and a bagel, and daydreaming of New Orleans like me…. or throwing an all out Mardi Gras weekend celebration…. this Muffuletta Cream Cheese is just what you need! 🙂
Spread it on a bagel for breakfast…. top a sandwich with the spread and some deli meats for a Muffuletta Sandwich spin…. honestly, I think this would even make a good dip with some raw veggies or crackers!!
I took my inspiration for the ingredients from a Muffuletta Salad that I often buy from my local grocery store’s olive bar. I usually spread the salad on a baguette as a snack. It’s yummy… but adding cream cheese and a bagel? Even better!!
Enjoy! and…. Laissez Les Bons Temps Rouler!!
